PPC stands for Pay Per Click, which are adverts placed in prominent positions in search engines. These adverts are charged per click, hence the name. PPC advertising is an alternative to SEO (search engine optimisation), which is the specialist service to help increase your organic (non-paid) search rankings. Often PPC and SEO campaigns are run side by side for maximum exposure.
Pay Per Click Management services is the process of creating and optimising paid ads, achieving maximum effectiveness for paid ad spend. This applies to paid advertising on both search engines and social media platforms.
Basically, as much or a little as you want to spend. You will find that certain keywords will need a minimum spend for your campaign to become effective. It all depends on how much competition there is for each keyword.
PPC works by effectively pitching bid campaigns against each other. Users set up a campaign to set the maximum they are willing to bid for a click. Google’s algorithm then takes into account all the competing ad accounts and displays the highest bidder at the top. Now this doesn’t mean your ad won’t be displayed for a user’s search query, but not necessarily at the top.

By default, a Google Ads account will use Smart Mode, which is a simplified version of the ads dashboard. Designed for beginners, Smart mode enables quick setup of ad campaigns, but has limited customisation and reporting options. Expert mode has the full range of ad features and campaign types. We recommend the use of Expert Mode where possible, to achieve a more targeted and data driven campaign.
Google Ads is available for anyone with a Google account to use. It is reasonable straightforward to use the default Smart Mode. However, we recommend the use of Expert Mode to take advantage of the full range of features and campaign types. While some users have experience in Expert mode for Google Ads, many business owners prefer to use the experience of a pay per click management company.
